‘Veronica Mars’ movie gets a release date; plus, watch a clip! — EXCLUSIVE

I kind of love “Veronica Mars”, especially the first two seasons, and am really looking forward to the movie-fied version. That said, as much as I can’t wait to see Veronica solving crimes again, part of me can’t help but feel that she belongs on TV — not because the show is too small to deserve big-screen treatment, but precisely because it’s so big that we (the audience, not the royal we) want to see the characters explore their world and each other (cough) week after week. Much like “Firefly”, Veronica deserves the longer, more leisurely format of television.

That said, I’ll take what I can get and be glad about it.
